Hi, I'm Karen, the founder of Menopause Masters. I'm a qualified psychotherapist and CBT practitioner with a special interest in women's health and wellbeing, particularly during the menopausal transition.
My own experience with menopause was a catalyst for creating this programme. Like many women, I felt unprepared for the physical and emotional changes that came with this phase of life. I struggled with brain fog, hot flashes, and mood swings, and I felt like I was losing my sense of self.
Determined to find a better way, I delved into research and discovered the power of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) techniques for managing menopause symptoms and improving overall well-being. I also realised the importance of community support and connection during this often-isolating time.
Inspired by my own transformation, I created Menopause Masters to empower other women to navigate menopause with confidence and grace. I believe that menopause is not an ending but a new beginning, a time for self-discovery, growth, and embracing a vibrant new chapter of life.
